Information about Ibiza island

Island and diving information
Types of diving we have here in Ibiza are wall, Reef, cave (small) and wrecks

Weather
Typical Mediterranean, with soft temperatures; warm winter and not specially hot summer.

Surface temperature
Minimum 6 degrees in winter, to maximum 40 degrees in summer.

Water temperature
14-28 degree Not including the thermo clines (underwater currents), where the temperature of the water can drop 3-4 degrees in one meter. In July and August a 3mm full length wetsuit will be a comfortable option towards the back end of the season and the almost summer season a semi-dry is enough. If you dive out of season (November to April), you will probably want to use a thick semi-dry or a dry suit.

Water visibility
Depending on the areas and the weather, between 10 and 40 meters. Mostly between 25 an 40 metres During the summer time when the water temperature is 20 degrees + there is a covering of a moss like substance on the rocks, making the view more picturesque but if you are a fan of natural rock then you have to go a little deeper where the water temperature has dropped and the moss cannot grow.

What we see while diving
Dolphins, Barracuda, Moray eels, Conger eels, Jacks, Starfish, Soft corals, Sea urchins, Octopus, Groupers, Wrasse and Sponges. The most dangerous things in the water are the “DIVE GUIDES”
